(d) Contact and Correspondence. When you contact us via email or through any form on the Platform, we collect the information contained in your communication.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

(a) Log Data. Your IP address, browser type, browser version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, date and time of access, and duration of visit.

(b) RFQ Submission Metadata. When you submit an RFQ, we collect and store your IP address, browser user agent string, the referring URL, and the page from which the submission was made. This information is collected for compliance, security, and fraud prevention purposes.

2.3 Information From Third-Party Sources

(a) Sanctions Screening. When you submit an RFQ, your name, company name, and country may be submitted to third-party sanctions screening services (currently OpenSanctions) to check against publicly available sanctions and restricted party lists, including but not limited to lists maintained by the U.S. OFAC, U.S. BIS, the European Union, the United Nations Security Council, the United Kingdom HM Treasury, and the Republic of China (Taiwan) International Trade Administration. The results of this screening, including any match scores and matched entity information, are stored by us as part of our compliance records.

(b) Analytics. We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or similar providers) that collect information about your use of the Platform. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze usage data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

(a) Providing Services. To operate the Platform, process RFQ submissions, maintain supplier listings, deliver newsletters, and provide access to content and features.

(b) Communications. To send you newsletters, industry alerts, and other communications you have subscribed to. To respond to your inquiries and correspondence. To notify you of changes to our services or policies.

When an RFQ submission passes our compliance screening, the submission contents (buyer name, company, country, product interest, quantity, timeline, and notes) are transmitted to the relevant supplier. We do not share your direct contact information (email address and phone number) with suppliers. Communication is facilitated through TaiwanDrones.com.

(b) Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform, including hosting providers, email delivery services (e.g., Buttondown), and sanctions screening services (e.g., OpenSanctions). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

(c) Analytics Providers. We may share anonymized or aggregated usage data with analytics providers to help us understand how the Platform is used.

(d) Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of TaiwanDrones.com, our users, or the public.

(c) Supplier Information. We retain supplier listing information for as long as the supplier is listed on the Platform and for a reasonable period thereafter.

(d) Log and Analytics Data. We retain server logs and analytics data for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

(e) Correspondence. We retain correspondence and communication records for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, or as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

7.1 What Are Cookies
