The intelligence hub for
Taiwan's drone ecosystem
The first dedicated platform covering the legislation, procurement, and market forces shaping Taiwan's drone industry — and connecting its manufacturers with the world.
Taiwan is building one of the world's most important drone industries.
Backed by $1.4 billion in government investment, driven by battlefield demand from Ukraine, and accelerated by the global shift away from Chinese-manufactured systems, the island's drone sector is projected to reach $625 million in output by 2026 — with over 250 companies producing everything from combat-ready airframes to precision motors, flight controllers, and AI-powered navigation systems.
Yet for international buyers, investors, and policymakers trying to understand this ecosystem, almost nothing exists in English. Until now.
TaiwanDrones.com is the first English-language platform dedicated to Taiwan's drone industry. We publish in-depth analysis of the legislation, procurement decisions, and market forces shaping this sector — and we provide Taiwanese drone manufacturers with the intelligence and visibility they need to reach global buyers.

More than a news site.
We're developing a verified supplier directory and intelligence platform that will connect Taiwan's drone manufacturers directly with global defense contractors, government agencies, and commercial buyers.
The directory will feature detailed supplier profiles with product specifications, production capabilities, export experience, and certifications — along with our China-Free verification program for supply chain compliance.

Currently in development. If you're a Taiwan-based drone or component manufacturer interested in being among the first suppliers listed, we'd like to hear from you.

A core function of TaiwanDrones.com is helping buyers trust what they're buying. Our tiered framework documents the supply chain origin of products listed on the platform.
Tier 1
Self-Declared
The supplier completes a standardized attestation form and provides a bill of materials with declared countries of origin for all critical components. TaiwanDrones.com records and publishes the attestation.
Available to all listed suppliers at no cost.
Tier 2
Document-Verified
TaiwanDrones.com reviews the supplier's BOM against supporting documentation — purchase invoices, supplier agreements, and certificates of origin. Verification is conducted per product line.
Confirms claims are internally consistent and supported by commercial records.
Tier 3
Independently Audited
A qualified third-party audit firm conducts a physical supply chain inspection, tracing components from sub-supplier through final assembly and producing a formal audit report.
Gold standard for defense procurement compliance.
We are launching with Tier 1 and will introduce Tier 2 and Tier 3 as the platform scales. Our full methodology will be published on this site — transparency about what each tier does and does not verify is essential to building buyer trust.

Sylvaine brings over a decade of international B2B sales and market intelligence experience to the platform, with a career built on connecting Asian manufacturers with global buyers.
Before TaiwanDrones.com, Sylvaine was a Senior Account Manager at Alibaba Group in Taiwan, where she helped Taiwanese manufacturers reach international buyers through Alibaba's B2B export platform — finishing as the top-performing newcomer in her division and earning a company-sponsored exchange at Alibaba's Tokyo office. Prior to Alibaba, she served as Director of Business Development at Kantar, the world's leading data and insights company, where she identified and won enterprise clients across Taiwan's corporate landscape.
As Country Manager for Innova Market Insights, Sylvaine built the company's Taiwan presence from zero, combining business development with market education — organizing trend presentations for industry associations, collaborating with major media outlets, and establishing Innova as a recognized intelligence brand in the Taiwanese market over three years. She previously held B2B sales roles at YKK (managing accounts for global brands including Puma, Costco, and GU across Asia), Nestlé Professional, and Echo Chemical, where she sold laboratory and industrial products to research institutions and manufacturers.
Sylvaine's career spans the exact intersection that TaiwanDrones.com serves: B2B marketplace operations, market intelligence packaging and sales, cross-border commercial relationships, and deep fluency in both Taiwan's business culture and international buyer expectations. She leads all supplier onboarding, intelligence product development, and Taiwan-side partnerships from her base in Taiwan's central manufacturing corridor, where much of the island's drone industry operates.
However you fit in, we want to hear from you.
